Do I understand this correct?
I have a hypo male
If I added a jungle pastel 100% het hypo, I potentially could hatch a hypo jungle pastel.
Are there morphs that would potentially not give a "combo morph" through breeding my hypo to a morph that is 100% het hypo?
Sorry Im trying to learn all of this

Yes you could hatch a hypo pastel from that pairing since pastel is a co-dominant gene and ghost or hypo is a recessive gene which both parents are carrying. If you are breeding your hypo to a 100% het hypo if they are a co-dom morph then you would always have a chance at getting the combo.
Hope this helps (tm Adam Wysocki)

So if it was recessive, then you would need to do a second breeding with the offspring to get the desired morph?
i.e. if you had a hypo and bred it to a clown 100%HET Hypo, you would end up with a hypo that is 100% Het clown. Bred back to a clown you would have a hypo clown?
Correct?

Yup that would be pretty much how it would work. In that pairing you would have 50/50 het ghost het clown and 50/50 ghost het clown. Your best bet would be to breed a ghost het clown back to the clown to make ghost clowns! That would be one hot snake too Good luck

No, If you breed a Hypo to a clown that is also 100% het hypo, you would end up with half hypos and half 100% het for hypos, and all of them would also be 100% het for clown. If you bred them back to the clown, you can't get any hypos, because the original clown is not a het for hypo. You would have to breed a hypo het clown x hypo het clown to get 25% hypo clowns, and hypos hat are 66% chance het clown. Or you could do hypo het clown x double het, but your odds of hitting the double recessive would be less.

Hypo is recessive, so even breeding a ghost clown to a clown would not give you any homozygous ghost clowns. The clown would also need to at least be het for hypo to produce any hypo visuals.

He was saying if you had a het hypo clown. So it would work to breed back to make the double recessive. Good luck finding a 100% het ghost clown though lol.

No, you would not have any ghost clowns from that breeding.

Ok I'm confused why you keep saying that he wouldn't get hypo clowns from that breeding. If he bred a hypo baby from the hypo X clown 100% HET HYPO back to the CLOWN 100% HET HYPO why would he not get any hypo clowns?

All this talk of a hypo clown...does it exist yet?
