    Little Bug

    My cat was stalking this thing in my room, I thought it was a cricket at first, any ideas on what it is? I'm guessing some type of really tiny wasp. It moved really weird too, I took a video as well

    Not sure how I came across this thread...

    It may belong in the Sphecidae (Thread-waisted Wasps) family, common black wasp, but it looks like the abdomen/stinger looked "cut off" so it may be a parasitic wasp (those the lay eggs on aphids etc) known as trichogramma wasps.

    I'll roll the pic by a few other docents in my group this weekend. Arizona right?
