Just brought my first snake home.. a young male ball from pETsMART. VERY active from what he was at the store.... as in all over the tank active. He's in a 20L with a under tank heater on one side and a 75 heating lamp on the other.... the humity is @ 65% (via analog gauges... yes I know but I just read the post about how inaccurate they are.. fixing this problem tomorrow)
Temp is a little low on one side.. around 75%. and around 87% on the other side (substrate is warm to the touch...)
I guess my concern and or question is, why isnt he just settling down? he is literally all over the tank.. NOT hiding just looking for a way out. Should I accomodate this little guy somehow so he feels more comfortable?? thanks experts of the herps![]()
