I couldn't have picked a better "first bite" myself.

Y'know, you rescue them and spoil them and get them feeling all better ... and this is how they re-pay you:

I'm actually really happy with him because he POOPED! ON HIS OWN! I was cleaning his tank, so I put him around my neck. Just as I was about to put him back in he latched on to my bra and decided he was NOT getting off. When I pushed the matter, he bit me. He's really hungry - I know that's what started it. He's sick and grumpy and hungry and just generally not feeling well. Poor guy.

Anyway, that was my initiation to bite club, and I couldn't have picked a better first bite myself!

I like to yell at my snakes until I realize they don't have ears. Oh and I'll match your ball python neck bite and raise you an adult Jungle Carpet Python neck bite:

Yikes.... Ki bit me for the first time ever on my knee. Lucky little booger only got me with one tooth so there was only one tooth in my leg. Thank goodness I say. I would rather his teeth be in his mouth. I'm glad there was minimal damage..

LOL we're all awesome here. I gotta admit I'm a little jealous of the carpet bite. That one looks purdy.

My roommate walked out while I'm sitting on the computer, waiting for the snake to let go (I figured he had to eventually...) and he stops dead in his tracks and his eyes bug out and he goes, "Is he biting you? Doesn't that hurt?" I said, "Well, yeah - a little. But he'll be done in a second. It's not THAT bad."

    They just don't understand...

I don't think mine lost any teeth over this. I was really careful not to move around while he had a hold of me. When he let go I could feel (and hear - ew) them pop out of my skin.

Yeah I got a little worried when he first bit me because my adrenaline instantly kicked in so I was feeling kinda light headed from all the adrenaline/blood rushing. He bit me while I was 'hugging' him. He was a very 'mobile' snake and I tried to get him to wrap around my arm for a moment and didn't like how I had him so he bit me out of defense...I miss that snake

My heart started beating a little faster when mine bit me, but I didn't get light-headed. He's not that big after all. But I think he got excited when he could feel my pulse speed up because he bit down harder and doubled up on his coils. I just thought to myself, "oh poop..." -lol-
