They sure are pretty to look at though!
I bought the set up completely put together from the guy I bought the frogs from and yes I just had to let them lose. From what I understand they just need to be misted, fed and a small dish of clean water. They are suppose to be really hardy and live for more than 10 years and are very active. They are just fun to watch.
Breeding the fruit flies that they eat seem to me to be the biggest challenge but I got a kit so we'll see how that goes. Raul's out now getting some distilled water and a new spray bottle. We have horrible hard water in California so the glass would be mucked up in no time if I just used filtered water (God, I love him).
