    Do jungle carpets get more yellow as they get older?

    From what I've read it takes them a year or two to fully develop their coloring. Hopefully I'll have some personal experience with this soon enough.

    YES, in most cases but not all. Some lines just don't "yellow" up like others but are of desired lineage. But if you asked most that is the desired trait when referring to Jungles. Many will say that it is better to have the yellow part as "clean" as possible with no blackening at all and with the black either with no Tipping or with lots of "Tipping".
