I have heard that with pastels 5 to 8 sheds is crucial as they can change so much in that time.

I just hatched my second clutch and was expecting brighter as well... but we'll see.

Thanks bruce...yep laura is getting the hang of the D40 now...i didnt know that about tha 5or 6 sheds....will keep you all posted....holdbacks....are there anything other than holdbacks lol...deffinatly keeping a 1.1 of lemons and possibly the 0.2 normal females...i was expecting a couple more cluches than we got so ive room for a few.
