    magicJack anyone?

Curious if anyone is using one. I love mine. Only downfall is limited area code availability.

Yes, but area code of your location may not be available.
Example, mine is 219 (IN). Not available. So, I got a number in 941 (FL) where my parents live. Now they can call me on a local number to them at no cost from their house. Since I am using it for a business line for customers all over, I didn't really care what the area code was. I paid a total of about $50 with shipping and that is for the unit, and one year of unlimited calls to US and Canada. Anyone that is paying for skype or vonage ought to look at it. If you want a second line in the house for cheap, it's a no brainer. If you are paying for unlimited long distance on your land line, you should check it out. It will start saving you money in 2 months. With most people using cells with free long distance now a days, not having a local number is not a big deal anyway.
    Highly recommend it.
