Re: Why do people have to be so crummy?
Thanks, I guess what makes me feel bad is people telling me I'm being cruel to animals when I really love animals.
As for the apartment... here at my place I've been told there have to be "special precautions" taken when maintenance fixes anything in my apartment because I have a dangerous animal...
Yea, Stan the year old ball python.. he's a terror..

Re: Why do people have to be so crummy?
Oh now I'm nervous, I just posted on my local CL asking if there was anyone around who breeds rodents. Tried to be as discreet as possible, but some people are just so closed-minded!

If it bothers you so much, make a default message to reply with and just auto reply to the emails you've quickly scanned that sound rude or offensive.
Perhaps
"Thank you for the comment, have a wonderful day! "
It's just email, its not like the folks are standing in front of your house picketing. Just auto reply and delete!

Re: Why do people have to be so crummy?
My response to people who are shocked or disgusted that I feed my snakes the food that they need to survive (mind you, they are all F/T eaters) is that I feed my dogs ground up cow, pig, and lamb. Is that any better? They usually just have to agree with me. I sometimes throw in how in some countries, cats, dogs, as well as snakes, are considered food items.
Again, it's all about being closed-minded.

If you are using an anonymous craigslist email (like comm-12345 @craigslist.org), they won't be able to see your real email addy UNLESS you reply to them. So I wouldn't even reply to those people, just to avoid further spam... (just my take)

I surprised that Craigslist removed your ad. Perhaps you should write to them and ask if they would have removed it if you had been looking for someone to split the cost and shipping on a box of frozen steaks?
