Hey guys.
Im thinking about getting another BP. As alot of you know I just purchased one from Law Reptiles out of Ohio ( the one I posted pics of.. hes doing great by the way )... Now there is another one Im interested in.. The guy I talked to described it as a " Pretty Normal female with a black back ". Well Im really thinking of ordering this tonight ( You were right its addicting ). Anyways heres a pic and I wanted to know what u all thought. ( Ive searched and to me it looks like a het red axanthic ). He wants 40.00$ for her plus shipping. She weighs 211 grams, and was born in June ( I think ).
is 40.00$ a good price? Does it look healthy? etc

I trust him. like I said I bought the one snake I just got from him and it arrive in great health. as for a setup I have the one I purchased from him in a 16qt tub with a hide, and water dish and undertake heater.. and have another 16qt with the same setup. Temps are 88-90 on the hot side and around 83-85 on the cooler side.. humidity reads 64% right now. I fully trust him. and his shipping method seemed good. He put it in a box with like a styrofoam cooler thing in the box with crumbled up newspaper and a heat pack in the bottom of the box, and the snake was in this zipper money bag thing lol

She looks in good shape. As far as her genetics, she's what the breeders says she is until you prove otherwise.
Plan for strict quarantine. Even though she's coming from the same breeder you just purchased from, quarantine procedures should always be followed. It's just a smart thing to do and worth the bit of extra work it takes.

If he didn't say it was het red, chances are its not.
$40 is a good price for any normal. Just be sure you have the enclosure ready a week in advance, and plan for that strict quarantine.
No sharing same furniture or dishes, and keep the 2 separate as far as possible. Always deal with the new animals last to prevent contamination.
