Remember reading somewhere they ball pythons got the royal python name by someone in history wearing live ball pythons as jewelry... does anyone know what I am talking about? If so, what is the story, who was it?

It based on the a story that Cleopatra was supposedly wearing the snake around her wrist.

I thought it was weird that there was an english queen named cleopatra, and a Eygyption queen named that too...LOL. I guess since everyone from Englad calls the royals...I just put 2 and 2 together.
