It looks much lighter than the toffee balls. Though they both are gorgeous!

I think the mess is under the water bowl, im pretty sure he used a circle peice of metel around a petri dish so the snakes wont tip it over, and you can see under it. But the stuff looks wet to me so im not even sure.

Just looks like aspen got into the bowl. happens to me all the time.
