HELP! What Kind of Boa???

I need help! I know that this is going to sound really ignorant but it is what it is When a family member could no longer care for their snake they came to me for a possible home. Long story short we ended up taking it home and it has worked out great, but we were told it was a Rainbow Boa and I didn't even second guess it because I could see the rainbow effect it had when in the direct sunlight. I decided to look around the web for pictures of other rainbow boas to compare with ours and quickly realized that I couldn't find any that looked like it at all!! I started looking at TONS of pics to try and figure it out but there are SOOO many! PLease let me know what you think!!

Yes, they do have some "rainbows" in the sun also.
Definitely not a rainbow boa.

Maybe a Columbian Red Tail?

This is your common colombian "red-tail" boa. The rainbow effect is just iridescence from light interacting with the scales, not the type of boa.

I think it's that phone game, some one says "red tail" boa, then on down the line it turns into Rainbow boa. They kinda sound the same right?

Im not an expert, but that definitely does not look like a normal BCI

Yeah so that's just a normal Bci, has a great pattern though.

look at how clean the pattern is, and very reduced, and almost no speckling

I think it's a Bci. The head size relative to the body size indicates a Bci (Bcc's seem to have a larger head relative to body size), also, the body is a little bit more oval shaped and so suggests Bci, also, it seems to have large and noticeable jaw muscles that are not so noticeable in Bcc's.

So, I think it is a Bci with maybe a little bit of a specific locale thrown in...?
