    Lightbulb I need help with an idea

    I got a ball python and i just want to know if it is possible to create an all natural cage with real plants and soil and stuff

    Its not advisable to use soil in an enclosure, soil harbors all sorts of paracites and creates a nice moist breeding ground from them. I like everything in my enclosures to either be disposable or cleanable...

    Hi,

    This comes up fairly often and most people decide the amount of work it takes isn't worth the payoff.

    But there are sources of information;

    A really good book which features the idea of natural vivaria.

    And there is also a forum which has some really good ideas;

    But think about it because it's not really an idea you can do on the cheap or half-cocked from all I've seen.
