I'm sure this is no big deal, but I'm very excited. Our new little guy just ate for us for the first time. Not only has he only lived here for 5 days, he is also beginning to shed, but he was still hungry! Yay Monty!

I've never watched a snake eat before (in person) and it was fascinating. I even took a video (which was promptly eaten by the memory card. Oh well). Yes, I am a dork.

Now the question and it's a fill in the blank!

i believe the rule of thumb is 48 hrs before holding him. congrats tho, the first time is always cool.
