I think it would be easier if the other companies move!!! They don't complain about the steel mills and concrete mills and all the others around because those other ones do not breed rats! Funny how no one said anything for 2 years about the smell until they found out what it was! Ignorance really ticks me off!! I hope they don't have to close down!

That's sad, I hope they don't get shut down because a few people found out they're breeding rats.

If they shut down, I'll be very SOL. I rely on them for my 275 live mice a month. Can't reliably get them anywhere else for those prices.

Hope they stay open... I've been planning on becoming a f/t customer since they are so close.

I hope it works out for them. Chad is a first class guy and Big Cheese is one of the best out there. Having to move an operation like that could financially ruin a business.

I hope they don't run into any problems either as I'm quite happy with their F/T items. Given the mood of the article though it seems like they're taking corrective action to solve the problem, so I think we'll be alright.

    Re: Trouble for Big Cheese?

Oh and I just bet the steel mill, the paving company and the landscaping place never put out any stink.....yeah right.

I hope they get through this. Ignorance is ridiculous when it hurts a company's right to do business in a reasonable manner.

    Re: Trouble for Big Cheese?

Hold on .. now, I understand people worrying about this because it may directly affect them, but for real ... they have a genuine complaint here. Stuff like this always happend when you apply for expansion and renovation permits ... they should have known that they would have been called into question, and their business looked into for approval of anything so why is it such a shock that the county is looking at all of their options to shut the complainers up?

I dunno, I don't think it's right .. but it doesn't stike me as something my city wouldn't do. It happens. They will work something out, and life will move on.
