boas with balls
I have a ball and a rainbow boa. The boa is about half the size of the ball. Can I house them together without the boa becoming a midnight appetizer??

I wouldn't try it. Better safe then sorry.
I'm not afraid of snakes, because I got Balls!

Re: boas with balls
Have you just gotten one of them?
I have boas and balls and prefer to give my boas one end of the house and the balls the other end. Boas can be asymptomatic carriers of IBD for a long time and so I feel that a lengthy QT is prudent~ even though I got my boas from very respected breeders.
I would not ever entertain the notion of housing these two species together; but that's just me

Different species = different husbandry and enclosure requirements so no, not a good idea.
With most snakes, the general thought is to keep them singly even within the same species - other than for breeding purposes.
