    Window to the World

This clutch is due to hatch next week and the eggs have windows where you can actually see the snake moving around inside.
The pics are not that great but I didn't want to disturb them too much.

One egg. This group of 3 is dimpling nicely.

And another from the group of 2 that haven't dimpled yet.

Close up of the one above.

I used 2 egg boxes since these were pretty large eggs.

5 eggs total on day 46.

Kinda like a fogged up window, looks like they have wiped a spot to look out and see what's going on.

    Re: Window to the World

Is it just the changing colors as it incubates, or is that a pastel in there?

IMO, it's too early to know if it's a pastel or not. Plenty of normals are born light. The best indication will be the fade on the top of the head, and green eyes.

Very true. They darken a lot before they come out.
Let's just say I am hoping they darken a LOT by the time they hatch. Plus, no pastel was used with this clutch.

Very cool! I have an egg with a very large window, but sadly I don't think mine is going to make it full term.
