Yeah, my first ones were out of melamine and weighed a TON and were impossible to move. So I came up with this design. It's just as affordable as melamine and a whole lot lighter, which I like.

Building racks is not that hard, I have built all mine (rats and snakes).

As far as the flexwatt wiring, this is the only part I do not do, which is why I order it from reptile basics http://www.reptilebasics.com/

Rich wires the flexwatt (at no extra cost) according to his customer specifications.

Yep, Rich is DA MAN! When I get the flex for my racks (even though the warm sides will be indiv. 30gal sized UTHs) it will be from him.

I've bought flexwatt from him already that he clamped for me. So if I asked him, he would wire it so that I could have it all connected on my rack?
    Thanks. :]

Yes, right now I have some flexwatt being wired according to my needs for a new rack I just built.

I like the locks! Cool idea!

Those would have prevented a couple of escapes at my place!
