Most 'herp' careers involve a zoology degree with a specialization in varying areas, which usually boils down to a herp type of career by work experience. I go to Mich. State and they dont have a herpetology degree, but I am a zoology major and could kind of tailor that to herps by working around them moreso than other animals.
