    The color of a baby

My babies just started coming out of their eggs. Their sides are a odd color. They are bright gold on top but a very light color on the sides and their bellies are red. Now the red belly doesn't that mean they are about to shed? They weigh around 55-80g (is that normal for a baby)? I will give you photos so you can see what I mean. Thanks so much. BTW I got 5:2 I so wanted more females So I have to sell the boys. They are 50% het for albino and I was thinking of selling them for $40 is that way to low for a male or to high? Thanks all they are all so cute. The last boy to crawl out of his egg tried to bite me, surprised me a lot, he was so funny.

The photos are two of my 5 males. I just love the tail pattern of the last boy

They'll lose the pink color in a few days.

Congrats on the new babies! To answer your questions: the color will change especially after the first shed, the price is about right and so is their weight. OH, and you're right... they are cute.

Not sure about the color of the babies since we are still waiting on our first batch of eggs. She has grew folicals so we will see!

As for the 50% Possible Het Albino males. I think you are probably in the right area. Due to saturation of Albino Hets and Possible Hets the market on possible hets is pretty low.

$40 is a little high for a boy. Just sell them as normals because people will think why chance the time with a 50% male when you can pay $50 more and get a 100% het. If some one buys them then mention that they are 50% hets. Id try craigslist

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Re: The color of a baby

    Congratulations, Angela..

They will change colors as they mature, so yes, that is the standard coloration of normal babies.

Weights are good, they shed about a week out of the egg, and as for the price, price them as you see fit. You have some healthy CBB Ball Pythons right there

    Congrats again!

Thank you all for your kind words. This is the first one to shed. She was also the first one out of the egg. She shines so much I was surprised. Of course there are more photos to follow as each baby sheds
