    skin problem update

Hey, sorry its been a few months since my last post/update, life's been pretty hectic lately. Just wanted to let everyone know that i took my python (now named Argon) to the vet and she believes that his skin problem was most likely due to trauma and suggested to wait till after his next shed to determine a course of action. so after his next shed came, i kept an eye on the problem areas and so far they haven't returned. his skin looks almost normal other than what looks like a very very slight indention of where the scale problem used to be. so now he's doing well. went to the vet a few days ago for a follow-up and she checked him over, and deemed him healthy. needless to say i'm very happy that it was resolved easily and he didn't have a life-threatening condition. Oh, and the mites he had are also gone thanks to a prescription medication and a lot of rigorous cage sanitations.
thank you everyone for your suggestions and concern, this is my first snake so i appreciate the help. (a lot)

Good job! I don't actually remember your original post about the problem but I went back and read it. It is always good to hear a BP has gotten the care it needed and recovered.

Congratulations on the healthy bp, Argon is very lucky to have such a responsible owner.
