This sounds like a stressed snake... ball pythons are nocturnal, they don't come out during the day, just at night, if your bp has become more active than usual (specially if it happens during the day), you may have a stressed bp in your hands... is there anything about your pet's husbandry which might have changed? Temp fluctuations? Have you moved the enclosure or anything like that?

Re: a bit of advise
We had our usually very docile girl tag us after feeding as well.
I have found that if we leave her for a little bit after feeding instead of trying to put her back in her enclosure right after she is done has helped.

Perhaps, feeding him outside his enclosure is what is causing this strange behaviour. Moving him back to his enclosure right after he has eaten might be stressing him out. Have you tried feeding him inside his enclosure? I've been feeding mine inside his tub and I've never had a problem.

Re: a bit of advise
ive never had any problems before hand feedin him outside his tank... and we have had him for almost a year already.. and yeah i used to feed inside till i had enough of the mice eplodin in the tank...
and yeah i usally give him some time before i put him back him..cause i also clean his cage while he eats so hes always done before im done...
