Re: Snake stolen and murdered in El Paso

I guess you need to be a member to see the post?
Eitherway there are many who think snakes are evil and all that crap. Ignorance and stupidity is too nice of a word for people who think this way.

I wasn't logged in and was able to read the thread, so it should be visible.

    That is horrible.

I hope the police are at least questioning the people in the area where the snake was found.

Re: Snake stolen and murdered in El Paso

I think it is disgusting that life isn't given a second thought these days. I find it evil to do intentional harm to another life form.
I also think it is really telling that some people on this forum are worked up over a beautiful snake that was murdered while my own daughter is dying due to lack of health care that adequately covers her medications. Some members on this forum told me that she is an animal and animals live and die- that is the cycle. Another forum member told me that it's just too bad she doesn't have enough health insurance- it's her problem and if she dies then so be it.
Wonder why a snake gets more cries of sympathy than a human? The snake should not get less; but more...?
Anyway, I told Rick to let me know when (not if) he catches the scumbag and I'll help with the 'lesson'.....
People, yes, most all people, seem to have a huge capacity for hatred. That sucks.

This reminds me of another topic we were discussing once McKinsey. I still feel your sentiments just as much as then.

Absolutely disgusting. It's overstated that "people never cease to amaze me", but really it's true. People never cease to amaze me. I don't recall who it was but a very sage man once said something along the lines of you can tell about a person by how they treat animals. I think this speaks volumes.
