Why I don't like people....

Butters420, we are seeing more and more stories like this these days. I'm starting to not like people as well. If people can be so horrible to injure an animal in such a way, it speaks volumes about where our society is headed. I don't think the OP really does dislike the human race, but it does seem like people are getting more cruel by the day.

I think whoever is responsible should have nails driven through their body as well, and then they should rot in a jail cell. Anyone who can do these things to an animal is more than capable (and probably willing) to do these things to a person. I think a person's personality can somewhat be judged on how they treat animals.

You said it better than I could have. In most serial killer backgrounds, they find major animal cruelty as kids. It really is only a small step in the mind of someone able to do this to graduate to people. I hope the snake pulls through, cause I bet he ends up with a great keeper and has a nice life ahead of him.

wow, how incredibly sad. I hope the snake pulls through, brave little guy (or gal)! I hope they catch the person who did it! I just dont know what would provoke someone to do such a thing

Yes there are good people in the world, but we are seeing more and more bad people come out of the shadows. When I was little, I was always trying to save the baby bird that fell out of the nest, or the chipmunk attacked by a cat, but now you see kids killing snakes, lizards, household pets, ect. Its horrible.

well sure we are seeing more stories like this,the internet is a great way to find information.id be willing to bet my life this was a kids doing.as a child i trapped a snake with a rock and burned it alive.this was when i was deathly afraid of snakes and dumb.now that i have matured a little bit i love snakes and would never hurt one.my point is when some are young and ill advised they do stupid stuff,like i did.in my opinion every person deserves to be treated well and respected,now if they screw up or do something stupid then sure dislike them for doing something wrong.i just cant see how 1 person can dislike a whole species when only a percentage is bad.and i guess this 1 person is perfect to be able to judge everyone

Butters420, I don't think the OP is serious about hating the entire human race. I say that I hate people all the time, but I don't mean it. The OP is not perfect and I really don't think they think they are allowed to judge everyone. I know I am in no place to judge. I think the OP is just frustrated with all the animal abuse on t.v/online these days and was feeling a bit tired of all the cruelty.

WTF are you talking about? I'm certainly not perfect. I'm not judging anyone, btw. When I say I don't like people I think most people understand what I mean. You just don't get it, and that's fine. I might be judgemental about someone trapping a snake with rocks and burning it alive though!! Kids will be kids, but that's insane. I'm not the one to write a book about how to make friends and influence people, but come on.

i work in the ems (emergency medical service) field in philadelphia and after seein wat people can do to other people i am not at all suprised wen i see a story such as this one. terrible just terrible.......

your post should have been why i dont like most people or something along those lines.and yea burning a kritter is a little extreme,i know this.and just so you know im not a serial killer either.i like people,we are such a interesting race.now i get real upset wen i see mistreated animals that are sick but at least wen people post those kinda threads here there are people in here that can help.i just dont see the point in posting this at all.wat are you gonna do about it?anything?or just show it to people?and if its just to show people,why?
