    Black Milks from Tim Hurkmans

Just wanted to post some pics of some black milksnakes I recently got from fellow BP.net member Tim Hurkmans. These are real beauties and I'd been looking for them for a while when Tim posted them in the sales section here, I bought 1.2 of them. They're tricolor right now, but eventually they'll turn all black and be 6-7 feet long. Really a beautiful animal.

These are nice sized for babies. They're about twice the size of my sinaloan milks that hatched last summer.

Very nice Mark! I didn't know you were into colubrids. How many species of snakes do you keep?

Heck, I started with colubrids 20 years ago. I've only been keeping boids for about 10 years.

Currently I've got, ball pythons, carpet pythons, burmese pythons and dumerils boas for the boids. For colubrids I've got many morphs of corn as well as sinaloan milks, the new black milks, pueblan milks, mexican black kings, cal kings, arizona mt kings, bairds rats and a lonely albino bullsnake. I used to have a few more species but got rid of them, Interests change over time and you can only keep so many snakes before something has to go. I used to keep a few turtles and lizards also but I've only got snakes now... Oh... And one albino pacman frog...

    Mark
