As in, do you have a schedule like
pups till 300 grams...
weanlings till.... etc....
? Or do you go more by feel?

I have 2 '07 females (from NERD) who are tipping the scales at ~1100ish. I am wondering how an owner determines their readiness to procreate. The weight is correct (or will be, certainly, by next season) and yet they are not 3 winters old; they'll only be 2 winters old (they were born in June...maybe July).
So, what's the litmus (as it were)?
