    Question on handling at night?

Usually my ball comes out around 8 at night, and is out n' about til about 10:30-11 at night. How many people handle their snakes in the evening or at night when their out? And does it mess with their photoperiod or anything if i were to turn on the light in my bedroom? Is that ok, i don't want the light to stress him, or will it!? Thanks guy

Take it out when ever you want. Just dont try and play with it like its a dog or something.. Take it out clean its cage and put it back. The light wont make a difference.

I guess my question ultimately is what colors do snakes see if any? I know they can detect infared, but far as colors go, what can they see?

It shouldn't matter when its light or not, I handle mine during the day and she seems cool with it

I handle mine in the daytime. In the evening they look out of their hides in a hunting mode and I feed them in the evening.

Do you guys get them out of their hides in the daytime, or are they just out n' about on their own?

I always take mine of the hide. I rarely ever see her out except in the wee hours of the night...or morning.
