    I Got My Mojo Working.

I bought a Male Mojave in the summer of 2004. I purchased him right before MKR dropped the bottom out on Mojave’s so I paid way too much for him. To make things worse He has never produced any offspring for me even though he has been a breeding machine. I was finally beginning to think that he was sterile or something. The fact that he is incredible looking only made it harder to take. Well two months ago I finally got a clutch of seven eggs from a Female I had only bred one time (very early in the season), to another Male. The Mojave was bred to her all of the rest of the times. The other Male was a Super Pastel so I knew if I didn’t get any Mojave’s they would all be Pastel’s. I was very relieved this weekend when one of the eggs pipped and I could see it wasn’t a Pastel. When I cut the rest of the eggs I was surprised with three very nice Mojo’s. Here is a picture of the clutch after I cut them.

They all came out of their eggs by Sunday and the total was three Female Mojave’s. Oh Yea!

Here are a few pictures of the first one out.

Here are a few of the second one out.

Here are a few of the third and final one out.

Here are a couple of breeding pictures. As you can see He is a pretty incredible looking Mojave. I am sure you can understand why I really wanted offspring from him.

Well now that I know he can actually reproduce he gets my big Female Pastel this year. I can only imagine how nice the Pastel Mojave’s from that breeding are going to look. Should be fun.

I think that's my favorite mojo ever. I love all the green on him!
He's even the only one my husband commented on after we went and saw them all (he's not as impressed by all the morphs as I am...yet) We want him!

Lauren, Thanks for the compliments on my Male. When I first got him he looked a lot like these babies, maybe a little bit darker. As he grew he developed the very cool green color. I hope the babies will do the same or better. Here is a picture of my Male when I first got him.

Congratulations Albey. That away to hang tough and stick it out until you got him to produce! He is a nice looking Mojave by the way. Your pictures rock as usual!
