Thats funny, I took several snakes to a 3rd and 4th grade presentation a few months ago and had a little girl ask me if the fur tickled there throat? Definately one of those questions that takes a minute or two to gather thoughts before trying to answer!

I'm guessing the saliva makes the fur more wet so it doesn't tickle, makes it more of a glob.


But if I was telling it to a kid I would say "it tickles aaall the way down and thats why snakes are so happy all the time!"

Actually maybe I wouldn't say that to a kid
