    If this isn't glowing...

...I really don't know what is!

Daisy has had been having visits with our pastel male, Butters, for about three months now. She went into a shed about a month ago and came out of it utterly glowing. Right after the shed I saw a confirmed lock-up. The only lock-up I've observed all season between any of our ball pythons! Then all interest died off, but I never observed an ovulation, despite checking at least twice a day. *sigh* It would make things SO much easier if I could've seen something that resembled an ovulation.

Anyway, she's just kept on glowing. It's been about a month and she's like a completely different snake! It's so cool, I thought I'd share some pictures. If she can produce some eggs, I'm pretty excited about how any of the pastels could potentially look with such a nice normal as their mom!

Oh and just for fun, the one time I caught her lumping and wrapping about two months ago:

    This is Butters, the male:

Congrats! The ovy should come after the glow and then one more shed and then the countdown! Keep pairing though - it never hurts!

I hope so! The glow was over a month ago and I definitely didn't see anything I'd classify as an ovulation. I got my fingers crossed on this one, we'll see what happens!

Mr. Butters still has rendezvous with her, it's my first year trying for ball pythons, so I'm going to pretty much keep putting him in with various girls until I see eggs or get discouraged, lol!
