Samantha's first moult! (with us that is)
I didn't have Sam's humid hide set up correctly, we had an igloo stuffed with moist moss but I wanted something better. So I bought a plastic tub, cut out one corner and put a bunch of damp coconut fiber in it and put it in her house, she climbed in immediately. By the next morning she had shed. We took the shed out and examined it and her. Perfect shed, one piece, no retained eye caps or any other part.
However, now she won't leave the humid hide. She hasn't come out of it since I put it in there.
It is early evening on Friday right now, and she has been in the humid hide without coming out since Tuesday night. Should I worry?

Do you have any other hides in her enclosure? If not, it may be that she likes hides and is trying to tell you something. =)
My boa LOVES her hides and resides in either the warm or cool hide 98% of the time I check on her...and she's nearly 2.5 years old.
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

Yes, she has a side on each side. Granted, the humid hide is smaller, so she probably likes it better.
I'm considering going out and getting her another hide like her humid hide but not putting the moist substrate in it.
