I really do believe there have been proven codominant blurries...if I'm not mistaken.

    Re: Blurry Balls?

The closest I know of is Blurry bred back to son and the results were no blurry babies, now that doesn't mean that it won't turn blurry over time. The hets never turned blurry either so it's doubtful it's a codom. I have seen blurry balls come in since the early 90's and that's a long time for them to be around and so far no definitive genetics have happened to my knowledge.

I thought Ian had proven the trait. Anyways, maybe JnJ will have some insight since he's selling "codom" blurry balls...

    Re: Blurry Balls?

We have co-dom banded males that are genetic blurry too.

The blurry gene is recessive on proven lines, these males were produced and proven by Ian G.

As many of you who have gotten animals from us know, our pics do no justice for most of our animals, no matter how hard we try the camera just dont pick it up.

There are not a lot of proven lines of blurries that I know of, Ian has a line or 2, and Mike Cole proved his out as recessive too.

I have a local client who bought some blurry type animals, the male looked like he was on fire, reddish orange, and blurry, and the female was a blurry vanilla looking animal ... that we should have a clutch from this season from her bred to that male to see if they prove.

I will try to get some better pics of the blurry co-dom banded males, and post them.
