Does anyone have this rack? If so, is the flexwatt wired individually or all together? Also how do you like this rack?

I have the belly heat version and the whole thing is heated by one long piece of 3" flexwatt. It's a really great rack for the price. I'm ordering another one this summer.

Re: Iris Sweaterbox Rack-32 Qt Belly or Back heat

i now have 5 of them, love it! i have the belly heat. why? personal preference. when i come in from the cold i wanna sit my bum somewhere dang close to something hot...i don't want to sit behind a plastic barrier looking at the fireplace across the room. this is me anthropomorphizing what the snakes may want. on the other hand, it seems like since digestion happens in the belly, that when they need to warm their belly's they should be able to get pretty close to that heating source (obviously don't burn them! use a good helix DBS).

I have had this rack almost a year. My snakes eat like clockwork, every week. I have never had a regurgitation or a sick snake. But other people have had equal success with back heat.

Many people have had great success with both. Belly heat costs extra and the electricity will run more in the long run. Either would be great, and I highly recommend Rich at ReptileBasics!

I just purchased my second one about a month or two ago, and I love it.

I use belly heat which I have had no problems with so far, and yes the flexwatt is all in one piece. It runs down the walls to each shelf.
