    Help Can't Control TEMP

I've had my Ball for a couple months now. In the winter I had no problems controling the temp & humidity of the 40 gallon tank. With warmer weather the digtal therm recorded temp at 102. I know very BAD! But without being home to check every day How do I adjust the under the tank heaters. I have 2 of them, each one under a hide on opposite sides- cool area in middle. I also have a light. If I cut of one heater the other still produces high heat on a warm day. I went to Lowe's to look for some type of Dimmer to plug into with no luck. Help Please Thanks Mitch

Sounds like don't have a thermostat. Get a Herpstat or Helix and you'll never worry about temps again.

    Check out the beanfarm:

http://www.beanfarm.com/store/agora....ture%20Control and look at the Helix or Herpsat. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but as its said, you get what you pay for. Both of these companies are highly recomended.

Another way you can control temp is to ditch the glass tank in favor of a tub. A search for "tubs" should give you a bunch of into

http://www.spyderrobotics.com/products/index.html They make the Herpstat and you can order directly from them.

http://helixcontrols.com/DBS1000.htm You can order the Helix from here if you are closer to the west coast or order from

http://www.reptilebasics.com/Thermostats-p-1-c-250.html if you are closer to the east coast.
