    Should I be worried?

Alright here is another "not eating ball python story"

Background: male 06 pastel about 600 grams. I have owned him for about a year now and he has been a fairly regular eater. When I first received him, it took maybe 3 weeks to get him eating for me.

Problem: Its been a month since he has eaten anything and its starting to worry me! I'm not sure if this is something to be worried about yet, because I heard somewhere that ball pythons will randomly stop eating for extended periods of time. What do all of the experts think? Should I be worried? What do i do?

    thanks,

    Sean

If he looks healthy then nope no reason to worry .He might be in the catch up mode as in his body is growing to the supply of food he eats.

Is he visibly losing weight? Mine hasn't eaten since November but he still looks and acts perfectly healthy. Other people in here have snakes that go off feed for 7+ months every year. A month isn't all that long. Just make sure your husbandry is good and keep offering him meals weekly.
