BP putty problem
Ok, this is probably gonna sound strange but here goes. I use a kind of putty (not harmful in anyway) to seal the opening in my snake's tank where the cords for the heater go in. Last night he discovered he could push through that putty and escape (I didn't think he could)
I just found him about a half hour ago and he got a lot of putty on his face. I got some of it off but there's still some on his snout and even on one of his eyes.
I plan to take him to vet as soon as possible, but is there anything I can do in the meantime?
I'm terrified.

Re: BP putty problem
What kind of putty did you use? Doesn't that stuff usually harden when it dries?

I say just clean him off as best you can and give the vet a call in the morning. And next time use something that hardens.
