How important is the photoperiod for cycling?
Just wondering how important the photoperiod is. I keep my snakes in a spare bedroom and pretty much just turn on the lights when I'm in there. Just wondering if I should start keeping them on and off to create a photoperiod or if cooling is enough to get them going?

I think you should be fine, most of us breed in our bedrooms. Lots of people dont even cool. But if you want you can get the appliance timers for like 10 bucks, or get a high end herpstat that can control light aswell as heat.

Most people that breed, dont even have lights on their snakes. They are nocturnal, so they do not "need" the light
