Re: Went to the Zoo
Great pics! I'll be taking the kids to the zoo soon, too. Mine are pretty well behaved, though

Re: Went to the Zoo
nice pics. I agree, the gabby is a dangerous love to have, but they are "drop dead" gorgeous. Sux that unruly kids were ruining your zoo trip. Thanx for sharing those gorgeous pics.

Re: Went to the Zoo
They didn't ruin it as far as me having fun and spending some good time with that Gaboon and the other reptiles. They only really bothered when they would just run into the shot or bump you and stuff. When I wasn't worried about taking pictures, I just stood there admiring these incredible creatures.
The pictures don't do them JUSTICE. In person, they're very impressive. The Cobra and Gaboon are just incredible.
Overall, it was a fun trip. I just wish I had more of a "ME" time with these animals and I would've liked to take a lot more pictures, but I'm sure I'll have another day.

Re: Went to the Zoo
Amazing photographs! You've got quite a talent with a camera!
I love the reptile house at our zoo here in Toledo. They have two Gabby's and I could watch them for hours (as well as drool over all the other gorgeous snakes they have).
One thing you might try is phoning your zoo's public relations/main office/visitor information office. Ask them for the day and hours that are normally the least high traffic at their zoo. That should help you have a more quiet experience and get more great pictures.
