Re: Clutch Countdown
Question: Are those who are in the "Cut'em!" Camp also the same kids who carefully peeled the tape off their Christmas presents early to find out what they were getting? HMM!?
I was sneaky one year and looked at one present and I hated the experience on Christmas morning of having to act surprised. Never again did I peak, so I think I'm definitely in the "Don't cut'em" camp.

Re: Clutch Countdown
cutting them isnt exactly peeking as much as it is making sure they have the ability to come out of the egg. sometimes the egg tooth doesnt do the job or gets broken so they snake will drown. it does allow you to peek to see what you are hatching only a few days before too

if you cant afford to take care of it, dont get it

:3 The anticipation is killing us...cut 'em!! (It's like taking a road trip with a bunch of kids..."Are we there yet? Are we there yet??? I HAVE TO POTTY!!!!" only these are a bunch of scissor-happy little six year olds... )
Nice analogy... thanks for the good wishes!

I always had to act surprised even if I didn't know what it was... my family kind of likes to get me what they want instead of what I would want...

Thanks Nick, after a little reading I decided that on the due date or when the first one cuts its egg, I will cut a small slit in the others... but no peeking! Want to make sure the babies have an escape route, just in case.

I've been trying the candling and can't see anywhere near as much as when I posted my last candling photo...
So far the eggs are even more soft than before, but I will take some pics just for you!

Re: Clutch Countdown
7 days to go and the eggs look like this...

I tried to candle them but can't seem to see the babies very well. I can see bits and pieces of their patterns but that's it... they're not spilling the beans.
