I disagree here.I would rather have any wild game then the store bought chemicaly enhanced crap anyday.Yes it does taste differant then beef but its because its better .I have never heard of nor seen deer meat being sold in restaurants, unless its a special benifit like.

I agree with that I would rather have the natural wild meat. The restaurants I have had it in have all been sort of stuffy expensive ones my family like to go to. It is sort of like lamb it has a game taste that is different not bad just different.

Kobi beef is the best in the world. Japanese cattle, hand raised, massages every day, they get to drink beer... this in turn gives the best (I mean the BEST) steak you will ever have in your life. Yes, I'm a fan, although I have yet to have one! But I dream about it...

Re: I am in heaven as i was given some deer meat

I'm a vegetarian, kind of. Tofu is the most discusting thing I ever tasted so I eat alot of fish and sometimes chicken. But I am so picky about it. I won't eat drumsticks or anything and if I see veins in it or if I even see it before it's cooked I'll starve myself on a salad or two.
Just the thought of seeing the deer being alive then all of a sudden it being cut into, it screaming in pain, then all of the guts come out and the buchers slicing it is... painful.
    Just my point of view.
