    need some help

Okay heres the story. I friend of my mothers needs to get rid of her spotted leo gecko. I don' know if its a morph or not but it is yellow with black spots and a white belly.

It comes with a 4 ft tank, lighting, rocks and cricket tank. She wants to sell it for 100. Is it worth it? What are questions i should be asking? Thanks.

Well they gecko sounds like a normal which can be picked up at pet store for 30.00 or so and at expos for 20.00 to 25.00 The tank and other stuff might add up on you quick if you buy them new. So its hard to say. I think you can get the same setup for 60.00 to 75.00 at a expo with the gecko. I don't think its a really bad deal if you are looking for a gecko.

Check if the gecko has a big fat tail (complete or regenerated), complete toes and digits, no stuck shed or dark old patches of skin, clear eyes and if male or female. If it's very yellow and has reduced spotting, it could be a "high yellow" morph, which is common. If it's yellow with very heavy spotting, then it's just a normal "wild" morph leo gecko. I don't think it's worth $100.. but that's just my opinion.. maybe you could negotiate it to $50?
