I don't know about albinos keeping their prices better. When i started looking around for mine they were $1800 now you see them going for $700 to 650.

I paid around that for my Mojave in 06 and look where they are now but that cool cause combos are where the market is going in the fature..And remember there are still dominate and co-dom morphs out there that people haven't even gotten to the small breeder yet so the market still has ways and years before it really starts to see a real drop

For a show here in the Pittsburgh, PA area it states any propagators attending need to provide a copy of their valid propagators license. (Here is a link to the ad for the show: http://www.freewebs.com/pghreptilesh...nformation.htm ) So we started looking into it further and found out the breeding of reptiles is covered under Aquaculture here in The Commonwealth of Pennsylvannia. We found the form to apply for the license here:

It is listed as "Aquaculture Reptile and Amphibians Propagators License". A different license is required for dealers. We never would have known about the requirements incase it would not have been for the show mentioning the required license. When we applied for our LLC we were told it was our responsibility to figure out what licenses and such we need. They don't help in any way to help you find out.

I believe you are correct that some states don't have this, but just a quick look found this for Massachusetts: http://www.mass.gov/legis/laws/mgl/131-23.htm

All I am saying is make sure you are up to snuff for the rules and regulations in your area. Some of them are burried deep in other laws. Some of the laws are really screwed up in the way they are written. One law I saw here in PA said the land used for propagation of a species must be zoned agricultural, but then other laws create exceptions to this, like you really need a 200 acre farm to breed ball pythons. (Not really worried about that since my land is zoned Agricultural) It is pretty screwed up and we will probably have to eventually hire a lawyer to make sure all our documentation is up to snuff before we start selling anything. Ultimately it doesn't seem like any of these laws are actually being currently enforced, but with the media attention Pythons are getting it would be just like a Politician to pull up some legislation that was written 100 years ago banning little boys from having pet frogs in their pocket and try enforcing it today.
