    palpating for eggs?

i have a gravid girl and its my first year breeding. i understand the concept of palpating for follicles but can you palpate the actual eggs? i am sure you can feel them in there but i don't want to harm them. i just want to get an idea of how many are in there. i felt 6 follicles at one point before she ovulated so i want to see how many might be fertile or slugs.

    thanks

If she already ovulated. Just wait until she lays. Yes, you can feel the actual eggs. You can even feel slugs if you get more practice.

After ovulation - Slugs are hard just like follicles...Eggs feel like water balloons...

Good luck - The only bad thing about feeling eggs is you can't tell the difference in fertile and infertile eggs until after they are laid...
