    What a day...

What a day I had yesterday.

First off, an old acquaintance of mine sent me an e-mail saying he had a red tail boa that he needed to find a home for. His roommate had left it behind, and he had thought about keeping it, but couldn't bear to feed it, since he used to have rats as pets. Says the snake is at his mom's house, and hasn't eaten in three weeks since his mom is terrified of snakes and refuses to open the cage. So, being the sucker I am, I say I'll take it, if only to make sure it gets proper care. Well I get there, and this is the Red tail that I find...

    Yea.

Then a friend I haven't talked to in months drops by for a visit. And he proceeds to tell me this horrible freaking story about how he had his Retic (about 5 feet long, that I tried for days to convince him NOT to get) with him at a pet store and some kid tried to pet it and the Retic nailed the kid. Its teeth got stuck in the kids arm, the mom freaked out and called the cops, and the cops took the snake.

Oh, did he ever get chewed out up one side and down the other.

And then! I got my Spotted Python out that I just got a couple of weeks ago and see a freaking MITE. Good grief. So of course I panic and have to go running to check all the other snakes in the house. Everyone is clear, and I don't see any more on the Spotted, but of course I still spent the rest of the night cleaning cages and putting paper towels down. Quick question, I cannot for the life of me find any PAM around here...what else can I use?

*Sigh* Sorry for the long post. I just had to rant.

    Re: What a day...

You can order PAM online.... Pretty much any online place sells mite control stuff :

    Bean Farm - Health Care
    ~*~ Adri ~*~

0.1 BP - Kitty (but 'officially' Cleo)
2.0 Pet rats - Gir and Zim
    1.0 Bunnicula - Dexter
