    Smile The best valentine!!

    Eighteen years ago I went thru a nasty divorce. Besides my boys , I had two wonderful stepchildren. I spent over eight years raising them as my own.Since they were not my biological children when the divorce was final I never was allowed to see them again. Today I got an email with their pics and will be hearing from my son John as early as tomorrow. It is so hard to believe he remembers me after so long. I can't wait to hear his voice. What a great Valentines Day. I have been crying for hours.

    Congrats. I have an uncle (in law) who went through a nasty divorce and his daughter who he thought was his turned out to be some other man's due to his wife cheating. After raising her for 8 or 9 years she was taken from him. He doesn't care if she's biologically his anymore, he just wants to see her. He's got another 3 or so years and he's hoping she'll contact him. I can imagine how great it must feel. Congrats on re-connecting and the new grandchildren!
