Jail break !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I got home the other night and one of my BP was missing. seems I didn't push his tub in all the way and he got out. I have looked all over the house and can't find him, I suspect he may have gone into the heat vent.
you all have any tips or tricks that I can use to draw him out?

My spider got out once. Found him 3 rooms away wrapped up around the aquarium plumbing.
Look EVERYWHERE. Small dark nooks. Inside shoes. etc etc
There are a few other tricks that I have seen round the net.
If he is small enough to fit, try putting a mouse in a 2 liter bottle and strategically place it.
You can put those plastic shopping bags in different corner/along walls/in doorways and listen for him to slither over one.
Some folks suggest lines of flour in strategic locations, when he disturbs it you will get an idea of where he has been and where he might be headed to.

ahh sweet.
I was thinking abot taking my spare 20 gallon tank and putting a live mouse in it and just leaving out in the open with the heat pad turned on and two hides in it?
I am not exactly living in the house yet so there aren't to many places to hide.

That sounds like a good plan. I've had snakes escape three times. Each time I failed to find them until they came out into the open on their own, even though I had them contained in the snake room. In all cases the snakes were fine.

Where do they go if they get into the heat vent? We had a snake dissappear a while ago and we suspect he went into the heat vent because its not too far from his cage and we couldn't find him anywhere else.

Wow! How do your snakes get out? Is it just human error or....?

Also, check anywhere warm, i.e. behind and underneath the refrigerator, dryer, ect. Also try to stay calm, and just keep looking! And figure out how to fix however he got out, because they seem to remember escape routes and will be right back out again if you don't fix the problem. Good luck, and keep us posted!

If the bigger ones push hard on both sides of the bins in my home-made racks, a slight gap is created on the sides.
I'm amazed they can fit through a space so small, and it's only caused three escapes in a year out of 50 snakes in those bins.
They're in a sealed temp/humidity controlled room with the vents taped over, so getting beyond the snake room isn't an issue.
