Re: Requesting permission to use photos

Hi, I wasn't around much last night so I hope it isn't too late, but I am happy to share my pics:

Here is the original heat picture before I blacked out the background:

If you need a link to the actual avatar with the blacked out background let me know, though I think it may be too small for your use since it was sized down at that point.

Here are some others, in case you are still looking:

My pastel likes hearts, my cinnamon girls likes cinnamon buns... my snakes are all impressionists.

    Hope these help!

    Go NCSU Wolfpack!

You guys ROCK! I think I have more than enough photos. I have not gotten the gift done yet (only two more parts to do) but I'm almost there. I'll post a pic when I'm done with it. I could have finished it today but we had to go to the vet and my son opted for me to take my time with it and give it to him when I'm done instead of rushing through it.

If you shoot me an email I can send you a bunch at VERY high resolution that will print well. Looks like everybody above has you pretty well started.

Re: Requesting permission to use photos

I'm sorry....I have not posted pics yet. I was almost completely done with it before it fell apart. I have to figure out what I need to do in order for it to hold better.

I take 8 2" sq blocks and 10 photos, 2 of which will be 4" x 8" and 8 of them at 4" x 4". To begin with, the blocks are all seperate and not connected in any way. But, by cutting the photos in certain ways rather it be in quarters, half horizontally or vertically or in three pieces (half vertically and then one strip cut in half, etc.) and then attaching them to the blocks, all 8 blocks become attached together in a way that you can open the group of blocks to reveal different photos. I'm sure that is probably as clear as mud but I can't think of a better way to describe it. Maybe I can take a picture of what I have left of it to give everybody a better idea of how it works. Right now I've got everything packed up, including my camera, so as soon as I'm done remodeling my room and get everything unpacked, I'll take a few pictures of it.

I'm sorry it's taken me this long to get it done. Had it not fallen apart I would have posted pictures already. This is a project that I have to really be in the mood to do and I've not been in the mood to work on it again since.

So....be patient and I'll definately get some pics up of it soon. I think once it's done it will be really cool and I know for a fact that my son is going to love it!
