    Best place to look for mites is in the eye caps and under the chin of the animal. I see you looked for mites and that was not the reason he was soaking. Thats great news.

    Soaking is not that bad, there is a couple of things you want to be aware of though. To much soaking can lead to scale-rot. Never fun. It can also keep the body temp to low and make for health problems.

    Periodic soaking in my opinion is fine. If soaking becomes a problem, an easy fix is to just give them a drinking bowl and not something big enough to put their whole body in.

    Sometimes they will presoak them selfs a few days or even a week before a shed comes on. So, keep an eye out for that too. Other then that, sometimes I think they just like the swim.

    Sounds to me like your doing a good job.

    Heck yeah.

    Sometimes when I feel like something we have is growing slow, I look back at a few picture and realize they are growing pretty fast.

    will do!! his head was sooo tiny when we got him and i swear its grown some already lol. could me just being crazy though, maybe ill get out the scale and weigh him... that way ill know for sure if im nuts

    It's entirely possible that he has grown! They grow fast when they're babies... I swear Gwydion gets bigger week to week. Keep us updated, Ashley... he's adorable

    awe thanks! hehe i do think hes growing. i know hes relaxing in his personal spa so ill leave him alone for right now but i do want to weigh him in the next couple days... i know hes more than 71g by now.

    I knew I wasnt crazy!!

    Jaxson weighed in today at 100g. Granted he has a meal in his belly from last week but I knew he had grown Ill be sure to supply pics when he sheds
