    when to stop cycling males?

i have two females that have been swollen with follicles for a while now and i may have missed ovulation but i think their pre-lay shed should be coming up pretty soon. they have both been bred to the same male at least 4 times. should i keep cycling him in with them or reserve him for the thinner looking females??

when do you guys stop breeding attemps??

Re: when to stop cycling males?

i stop when i feel large enough follicles to know that the girl is done ... BUT, if you aren't 100% sure of where your females are at developmentally, don't stop until you get eggs.

In my experience too many people that aren't really sure what building looks like or what an ovulation is stop breeding way too soon and miss clutches ... keep going.

If you don't know how long to keep pairing them up for, keep pairing up until you get eggs ... makes it easy that way.
